Access to Local Businesses & Attractions
Managed access has been arranged for local business and attractions along the race course.
Taxis & UBER
Taxis and UBERs will be able to drop participants near the start line on Saturday and Sunday.
Drop off locations are:
- King Edward Terrace
- Parkes Place West
- Langton Crescent - access from Commonwealth Ave travelling southbound.
- Kings Ave - access travelling northbound only.
There is ample parking within walking distance to the race start and finish area. Parking is free in the P zones.

Please note all attendees to the Australian Running Festival should be aware that it is an offence under the National Land (Road Transport) Ordinance 2014 to park a vehicle on open space in the area where the Australian Running Festival is being held. Open space is any area that is not designed for the movement or parking of motor vehicles, such as grassed areas, footpaths and landscaped areas. The National Capital Authority will be enforcing parking regulations for the duration of this event, and attendees should ensure they park legally to avoid the risk of an infringement being issued to their vehicle.

Please note that there are no event specific shuttles provided.
If you are considering walking to the start area, it will only take approximately 30 minutes from the city via Commonwealth Avenue to the start line.
